it sounds to me your son has a pot problem rather then a sleeping problem. Constantly having marihuana in your system makes you lazy and unwilling to do anything. Maybe if he found a way to kick this bad habit, it&#039;s easier to motivate him. This doesn&#039;t mean it&#039;s your task to do so; he&#039;s an adult now.

Linda: maybe he would get out of bed if he had a reason to. By which I mean if he had no choice. Does he wash his own clothes and provide his own food? He may be living under your roof, but as an adult he should take care of himself and you shouldn&#039;t be have to do it for him. He should know that you are not his maid and that stuff you need doesn&#039;t magically appear in front of you. I think you&#039;ve done all you can to nicely persuade him to be more active. If you&#039;d ask me, i&#039;d say that tough love is the only way to go now...
